A lady and a canine take the first steps toward their journey across the fabled ‘Badlands’.
Speed paint, about 2 hours. Used this to start testing out harder, textured brushes for a more painterly look, rather than the standard round brush I usually stick to like an addict.

A new illustration I painted. I had the intention of making this a stormy scene. But then the sunset took on a life of its own and now we’re here, in cloudy sunset land.
